According to CAUW’s website:
Capital Area United Way has always successfully invested resources into the programs and partner agencies that are moving the needle and changing the face of the capital area. As our community’s biggest needs have changed, we too have changed.
In 2014, we engaged community partners (funded agencies and programs), community members and others from across the 10-parish capital area in meaningful conversations. They talked about their hopes, dreams and aspirations for the community. What current challenges we are facing and the solutions that we need to focus on to make the biggest impact in the Greater Baton Rouge community. With this insight in mind, we created a plan for our future. The result: Capital Area United Way’s impact model.
