
At the GradNation Community Summit in Tulsa on January 8, Charles Hiteshew told attendees that Tulsa could become the first midsize city in the nation to graduate 90% of high school students–if it can convert just 540 students per year from dropouts to graduates, using whole-school reform strategies like those successfully implemented in the Diplomas Now program at Tulsa’s Webster High School.
