A New Partnership for School Improvement

A New Partnership for School Improvement

AASA and TDS, two respected national leaders, are coming together to facilitate a platform for a cohort of schools to benefit from evidence-based support and an opportunity to share lessons among like schools in a special networked community. This means …

If a school in your district is evaluated to be among the 5% lowest performing in your state, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requires you to implement a school improvement plan. School assessments are taking place now – are you ready for the results?

If your school is identified, the first step will be to undertake an assessment of the school’s needs and construct an evidence-based school improvement plan ready for implementation by next fall. That may sound like a tall task in a short timeline. However, there is federal money allotted to this process, available through your state, and we can help. 7% of Title I dollars at each state are dedicated to underwriting this effort with evidence-based practices and partners.

AASA & TDS : A New Partnership

AASA & TDS are joining forces to provide a turnkey, evidence-based approach for 20 select districts which must improve their low performing schools as part of their ESSA requirements.

Talent Development Secondary has proven to be of the most evidence-based school improvement partners in the nation for the last twenty years. This historic partnership provides an opportunity to join a Networked Improvement Community (NIC). This will be offered to 20 districts & up to 40 secondary schools over the next 4 years, as long as those districts agree to:

  • Use the TDS Framework,
  • meet the application requirements, and
  • draw upon their ESSA Title I dollars.
